Fentress County Commission Meeting 06-15-2026
The Fentress County Commission will be meeting on Monday June 15, 2026, at 6:00 PM. The meeting will be held at the Historic Fentress County Courthouse in the courtroom. A copy of the Fentress County Commission Agenda will be available on the Friday before the Monday Meeting in the County Executive’s office.

The Fentress County ID Board will be meeting on Friday June 05, 2026, at 8:00 AM. The meeting will be held at the Historic Fentress County Courthouse in the ECD conference room. Regular monthly meeting.
Notary Applications 06-15-2026
The Fentress County Clerk’s Office is currently accepting Notary Applications to be presented at the June 15th, 2026 County Commission Meeting. The Fentress County Budget Committee will be meeting on Monday June 01, 2026, at 5:00 PM. The meeting will be held at the Historic Fentress County Courthouse in the ECD conference room. The topic of discussion will be the 2026-2027 budget.

The Fentress County Audit Committee will be meeting on Tuesday May 26, 2026, at 12:00 NOON. The meeting will be held at the Historic Fentress County Courthouse in the ECD conference room. The topic of discussion will be the review and approval of the 23-24 and 25-25 county budget audit findings.
Fentress County Clerk Office Closing 05-23-2026 & 05-25-2026
The Fentress County Clerks office will be CLOSED Saturday May 23rd, 2026 and Monday May 25th, 2026 for memorial day. We will reopen Tuesday at 8:00 a.m. If you need to renew during a closure, you can take your registration to Swaffords IGA in Clarkrange and renew at our kiosk with a debit or credit card. You must live in Fentress county and be within 90 days of renewal.

The Fentress County Courthouse, Fentress County Senior Center, Fentress County Solid Waste Office & Recycling and Fentress County Convenient Centers will be CLOSED on Monday May 25, 2026, for Memorial Day.
