County Notices

The Fentress County Commission will meet in regular session on Monday, September 15th, 2025 at 6:00 pm.  The meeting will be held at the Historic Fentress County Courthouse located at 101 S. Main Street in Jamestown, TN. 38556.  An agenda can be obtained by contacting the County Executive’s Office on the Friday prior to the meeting.

The Fentress County Library Board will be meeting at noon Tuesday, September 16th, 2025. The meeting will be held at The Fentress County Public Library located at 306 S. Main St. Jamestown, Tennessee 38556.

The Fentress County Opioid Committee will be meeting on Monday September 15, 2025, at 4:30 p.m.  The meeting will be held at the Historic Fentress County Courthouse in the ECD conference room.  The topic of discussion will be proposals from Manna House/Reach, along with an updated report from Manna House.

The Fentress County Clerk’s Office is currently accepting Notary Applications to be presented at the upcoming September Fentress County Commission Meeting. The deadline for these applications is Friday, September 12th 2025 at Noon. Contact the Fentress County Clerk’s Office (931) 879-8014 with any questions about the notary application process.

The Fentress County Industrial Development Board will meet at 8 a.m. on Friday, September 5th, 2025. The meeting will be held in the ECD room at the Historic Fentress County Courthouse located at 101 S. Main Street in Jamestown, Tennessee 38556.

The Fentress County Fire Committee will be meeting on Monday, August 11th, 2025 at 5 p.m. The topic of discussion will be grants, insurance ratings and state fire policies. The meeting will be held in ECD conference room on the 2nd floor of the Historic Fentress County Courthouse located at 101 S. Main St. Jamestown, Tennessee 38556.

The Fentress County Regional Planning Commission is set to meet on Friday, August 15th, 2025 at 12 p.m. The purpose of this public hearing is to receive public comment regarding the removal of Willie Doss Rd from the county road list. The meeting will be held in the ECD conference room on the 2nd floor of the Historic Fentress County Courthouse located at 101 S. Main St. Jamestown, Tennessee 38556.
